The Delaware Department of Agriculture has recognized Nichole Krambeck for her achievements as a 2025–26 LEADelaware Fellow and for her business, Insight Ag Scouting, being selected as one of seven winners in the EDGE 2.0 grant competition by the Delaware Division of Small Business. The EDGE 2.0 program offers financial support to early-stage small businesses in Delaware for projects such as acquiring critical equipment and enhancing infrastructure.

Krambeck, who has over eight years of experience in agriculture, is part of a group preparing to lead Delaware’s food and farming sectors. Through LEADelaware, a collaboration between the University of Delaware and Delaware State University Cooperative Extension, she is expanding her ability to serve growers and land managers.

“Nichole’s tenacity and drive to succeed in crop consulting is inspirational and key to her admission to the LEADelaware fellowship program,” said Chris Brosch, Deputy Secretary of the Delaware Department of Agriculture. “What makes this special is the recognition that emerging technologies and businesses in agriculture can compete with innovators in other sectors. Being a top performer among almost 180 new business leaders is a hallmark of Nichole’s entrepreneurial spirit.”

Insight Ag Scouting was chosen for its innovative method of delivering rapid, accurate crop insights during crucial stages of the growing season. This helps producers improve nutrient stewardship and decision-making while supporting sustainable crop production across the region.

Krambeck graduated from Delaware Technical Community College and holds certifications as a licensed pesticide applicator and nutrient manager in both Delaware and Maryland. In her role at the Department of Agriculture, she contributes field-level expertise towards improving soil health and nutrient-use efficiency.

The department congratulates Krambeck on her accomplishments and anticipates further contributions from her leadership within Delaware agriculture.
