On Feb. 17, the Delaware Department of Transportation announced a lane closure on Shipley Road between Ace Avenue and Drexel Drive from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.


The closure is scheduled for one day as crews conduct testing to locate water and drainage in the area. Motorists are advised to use caution and expect minor delays during this period.


The department said that the work is necessary for infrastructure assessment. According to the Delaware Department of Transportation, “Crews will be testing to locate water and drainage.”
