The Delaware Department of Transportation has announced a temporary closure of S. West Street in Dover, between W. North Street and Bank Lane. This closure is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, January 13th, and continue through Tuesday, January 27th, weather permitting. The purpose of the closure is to allow for the inspection and maintenance of an underground pipe.

Motorists are advised to follow posted detour signs during this period. “Motorists are reminded to slow down in work zones and to expect minor delays while traveling in the area,” said a spokesperson from the department.
