The Delaware Department of Transportation announced it will implement an all-way stop control at the intersection of SR 15 (Canterbury Road) and Andrews Lake Road on Tuesday, March 10, weather permitting.

The change is expected to affect motorists traveling through the Felton area. Lane closures and the presence of flaggers are anticipated during the installation process, which will include signing and pavement marking improvements.

According to the Delaware Department of Transportation, “Motorists should expect delays due to lane closures and the presence of flaggers at the intersection for the installation of signing and pavement marking improvements.” The department encourages drivers to plan accordingly while work is underway.

No additional background information was provided regarding previous traffic conditions or reasons for this change. For more details about this project or other transportation updates, residents can visit DelDOT’s website at www.deldot.gov.

Further updates may be available as work progresses. More information can be found in the official release from the Delaware Department of Transportation.
