Delaware DOT announces closure of Powell Farm Road for paving

The Delaware Department of Transportation has announced the closure of Powell Farm Road between Roxana Road and Burton Farms Road in Millville. The road will be closed for paving from Monday, July 21, through Friday, July 25, weather permitting.

For those traveling north on Powell Farm Road, the detour involves continuing on Roxana Road and making a left onto Burbage Road to return to Powell Farm Road. Southbound travelers should make a left onto Burbage Road and then a right onto Roxana Road to get back to Powell Farm Road.

Trucks heading south on Powell Farm Road will start their detour on SR 26, Atlantic Ave, turning right onto SR 17, Roxana Road, and continuing to Powell Farm Road. Northbound trucks will begin their detour on SR 17, Roxana Road, making a left turn onto SR 26, Atlantic Ave, before continuing to Powell Farm Road.
