The University of Delaware women’s basketball program announced on April 28 that Sanyiah Littlejohn, a transfer from George Mason University, will join the Fightin’ Blue Hens for the upcoming season.

Littlejohn, a 5-foot-7 guard, played her freshman year at George Mason where she appeared in 11 games. During her time with the Patriots, she recorded 19 points, five rebounds, six assists, and three steals while shooting six-for-ten from the free throw line.

Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Littlejohn graduated from Lansdale Catholic High School in 2025. She scored over one thousand points during her high school career and contributed to her team’s victories in both the Philadelphia Catholic League Championship and the Pennsylvania state championship. In addition to being named second team all-state in 2025, she was selected twice for First Team All-Catholic honors and once as Second Team All-Catholic as a junior. She also served as team captain during her senior year.

Littlejohn is from Mount Airy in Philadelphia and is the daughter of Shannel Littlejohn and Tyrik Short. She has four siblings. Her cousin Cheryl Littlejohn played basketball at the University of Tennessee during the 1986-87 season when Tennessee won the Division I National Championship with the Lady Vols.
