The Delaware Department of Transportation announced that Glenrich Avenue between Howard Street and Lake Street will be closed from Friday, March 20 through Tuesday, March 24 for crossroad drainage pipe replacement and manhole repairs.

The closure is expected to impact motorists traveling in the Wilmington area. DelDOT said drivers should slow down in work zones and expect minor delays while traveling near the construction site.

According to DelDOT, the work is necessary to replace drainage infrastructure and repair manholes along this section of Glenrich Avenue. The department did not specify detour routes or additional impacts but advised travelers to plan accordingly during the closure period.

Motorists seeking more information about the project or other traffic alerts can visit DelDOT’s website at www.deldot.gov. Additional details are available according to the official roster page.
