DelDOT announces maintenance at Christina Avenue railroad crossing in New Castle County

The Delaware Department of Transportation announced on March 10 that general maintenance will take place at the Christina Avenue railroad crossing in New Castle County starting at 7:00 am on Monday, March 16.

The work will require intermittent lane closures on Christina Avenue at the crossing and is expected to be completed by 5:00 pm Friday, March 20. This project continues work that began in December.

Motorists are advised to use caution and expect minor delays in the area during this period. The department said, “Motorists should use caution and expect minor delays in the area. For more information visit the DelDOT website at www.deldot.gov, or download the DelDOT app.”
