DelDOT announces night lane restrictions on S. Market Street Bridge in New Castle County

The Delaware Department of Transportation announced that motorists should expect a lane restriction on the S. Market Street Bridge in New Castle County starting Wednesday, April 1 and continuing through Tuesday, April 7. The work will take place at night, with lane restrictions scheduled from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am on weeknights.

According to the department, this project is a continuation of work that began in October.

Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling through the area and to anticipate minor delays during the construction period.
