The Delaware Department of Transportation announced a nighttime lane restriction on the Kirkwood Highway between Old Capitol Trail and Ferrand Drive for a drainage pipe replacement, starting April 19 through April 24.

Crews will work from 8:00 pm to 5:00 am during this period. Motorists are advised to use caution and expect minor delays in the area.

According to the department, the lane restriction is necessary to allow workers to safely replace a drainage pipe along this section of the highway. The project is scheduled for completion within six nights, weather permitting.
