DelDOT announces one-week closure of Allendale Road for drainage pipe replacement

The Delaware Department of Transportation announced on March 10 that Allendale Road in front of 2111 Allendale will be closed for one week to allow crews to replace crossroad drainage pipes. The closure is scheduled to begin at 6:00 am on Tuesday, March 17 and end at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, March 24. A detour will be posted during this period.

The department said motorists should use caution and expect minor delays in the area. For more information, residents are encouraged to visit the DelDOT website or download the DelDOT app.
