On Feb. 13, the Delaware Department of Transportation announced upcoming lane restrictions on Route 41 at the bridge over Red Clay Creek at Greenbank Road for patching the bridge deck. The work will take place with nighttime restrictions from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am, nightly, starting Monday, February 23 and ending Thursday, March 5.
The department said motorists should use caution and expect minor delays in the area. The announcement aims to inform drivers about potential impacts to their travel during the scheduled maintenance period.
According to the Delaware Department of Transportation, “the lane restriction on Rt 41 at the bridge over Red Clay Creek at Greenbank Road [is] for patching the bridge deck. The work will be done with nighttime restrictions from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am, nightly, starting Monday, February 23rd and ending on Thursday, March 5th (…) Motorists should use caution and expect minor delays in the area.”
