New ramp from Rt 896 to I-95 northbound set to open in late June

The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) has announced the opening of a new ramp connecting northbound Route 896 to northbound I-95. The ramp is expected to open between Thursday, June 26th, and Friday, June 27th. During this time, northbound I-95 lanes will be shifted to the left as they approach the interchange and through the area where the new ramp merges onto northbound I-95. DelDOT noted that all work is weather permitting.
