The Delaware Department of Transportation has announced a temporary closure of Rifle Range Road in Bridgeville. The section between Sussex Highway (Route 13) and Tatman Farm Road will be closed from Monday, January 5, 2026, to Friday, January 23, 2026. This closure is necessary for the inspection and maintenance of a gas main line.

Motorists traveling west on Rifle Range Road are advised to detour south onto Tatman Farm Road, then turn right onto 404 Seashore Highway, and finally turn right onto Route 13 to return to Rifle Range Road. Those heading east should redirect south onto Route 13, make a left onto 404 Seashore Highway, and then left again onto Tatman Farm Road to return to their original route.
