Route 9 near Port Penn to close for a month starting November 13

The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) has announced the closure of a section of Route 9, also known as St. Augustine Road, south of Port Penn. The closure will be in effect 24/7 from Thursday, November 13th to Thursday, December 11th. This road segment between Belts Road and 6th Street will be closed to allow crews to install five inches of porous pavement overlay, along with updated guardrails and curbing.
