Houston home prices rise in August 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2017 in Houston rose by $10,000 while total sales remained unchanged with three homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2017, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $55,000 - a 22.2% increase over the $45,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Houston in August 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Houston for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $453, approximately 0.8% of the median home sale price for August 2017.
