City of Delaware issued the following announcement on Feb. 15
The Dog Park is closed until approximately April 15 for turf maintenance and turf recovery. Crews will be aerating, topdressing and fertilizing, while providing time to re-establish healthy grass for the rest of the year. In the meantime, the following City parks have walking trails open to pets (on leash).
Wetland Park, Adjacent to the Dog Park
Mingo Park, 500 E. Lincoln Avenue
Kensington Place Park, Ferguson Avenue and Ashburn Drive
