July: How many in Delaware have received two COVID-19 vaccine doses?

Covid 19 edited

Across Delaware, 65 percent of residents are considered fully vaccinated after two doses of COVID-19 vaccine by the end of July, according to the State of Delaware.

The number of fully vaccinated people increased by 0.4 percent from the month before.

Roughly 74 percent of Delaware's population has received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

A state of emergency declared by Governor John C. Carney in early 2022 requiring indoor masking in schools expired at the beginning of March.

The recent surge of the Omicron COVID-19 variant caused "an unpleasant mixture of dread, fatigue and deja vu" almost two years into the pandemic, according to a report from McKinsey & Company.

Past data is continually updated by the State's health department.
