The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) has announced a traffic pattern change on southbound I-95 as part of the ongoing I-95/Rt 896 Interchange Project. The adjustment is scheduled to occur overnight from Thursday, October 2 into Friday, October 3. Traffic lanes will shift to the right to establish a work zone for bridge deck rehabilitation. Despite the changes, all travel lanes will remain open after the shift.

DelDOT advises motorists to exercise caution and anticipate minor delays in the area due to this change. The schedule is subject to weather conditions. For updates on construction-related closures, the public can visit the project website at 95896improvements.com and sign up for text or email alerts.

Additional information can be accessed through DelDOT’s official website at www.deldot.gov, via their mobile app, or by tuning into 1380 AM WTMC radio station.
