TrendAI announced on May 1 a collaboration with Anthropic to expand the use of Claude Opus 4.7 for security research. The partnership aims to help organizations identify, prioritize, and address vulnerabilities more quickly by using artificial intelligence to accelerate threat intelligence and reduce real-world risks before they impact businesses.
The collaboration is significant as it bridges the gap between faster vulnerability discovery enabled by AI and the need for timely remediation. Rachel Jin, Chief Platform and Business Officer, Head of TrendAI, said: “AI is dramatically accelerating vulnerability discovery, but remediation timelines haven’t kept pace. Our collaboration with Anthropic ensures that organizations get the best vulnerability threat intelligence and the ability to reduce risk across their environments before attacks take place.”
TrendAI is participating in Anthropic’s Cyber Verification Program, which provides credentials for defensive use of advanced AI models. In 2025, TrendAI launched AESIR (AI-Enhanced Security, Intelligence, and Research), an internal platform that uses Claude Opus 4.7 to analyze software ecosystems from an attacker’s perspective—determining what is reachable or exploitable at scale—and enabling autonomous discovery of real vulnerabilities.
AESIR has already helped uncover critical Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) across major platforms such as NVIDIA and Tencent through its integration with TrendAI ZDI for collaborative patching efforts. According to TrendAI’s State of AI Security Report, there could be between 2,800 and 3,600 AI-related CVEs in 2026 alone; AESIR was designed specifically to handle this volume.
With tools like TrendAI Vision One building on these insights by mapping attack paths and supporting quick mitigation measures—including virtual patching—the partnership aims to help organizations operationalize findings even when permanent code fixes are not immediately available.
TrendAI describes itself as a global leader in enterprise AI security trusted by large companies worldwide. Anthropic focuses on building reliable artificial intelligence systems like its Claude family of models used in this collaboration.
