Fairfax home prices rise in August 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2017 in Fairfax rose by $47,100 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2017, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $260,000 - a 22.1% increase over the $212,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Fairfax in August 2016.

The median sales tax in Fairfax for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $2,008, approximately 0.8% of the median home sale price for August 2017.
