Houston home prices rise in July 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2018 in Houston rose by $11,500 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2018, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $179,000 - a 6.9% increase over the $167,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Houston in July 2017.

The median sales tax in Houston for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $453, approximately 0.3% of the median home sale price for July 2018.
