Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on July 13
At the Rotary Club of Wicomico County’s Installation Dinner on June 30, outgoing President Dan Livingston announced and recognized Club Treasurer Gil Allen as his 2019-2020 Rotarian of the Year.
Livingston praised Allen for his many contributions to Rotary and the club. Also at the event, 5-year Rotarian Gail Foltz was officially sworn in as the next President of the club.
Annually, The Rotary Club of Wicomico County contributes over $50,000 back into our community through the support of agencies and causes including Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, scholarships for local high school and college students, The Christian Shelter, RYLA, Easter Seals Camp Fairlee, Polio Eradication (Global), Fruitland Community Center, HALO, Wicomico County Library, the construction of wheelchair ramps and much more.
The Rotary Club of Wicomico County meets every Tuesday at noon in the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center at 500 Glen Avenue in Salisbury.
