City of Newark issued the following announcement on Aug. 13
Due to popularity, two additional Main Street Alfresco events have been added to the schedule
The City of Newark announces tonight’s Main Street Alfresco outdoor dining event has been canceled due to anticipated thunderstorms.
On Monday, August 10, City Council agreed to extend the functions through the end of the month to promote safe, family friendly alfresco dining experiences. The additional events will be held from 4:00 until 9:00 on August 19 and 26. Participating restaurants, retailers and nonprofit organizations include:
- Home Grown Cafe
- Caffe Gelato
- Taverna Rustic Italian,
- Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant
- Arena’s
- Pachamama
- Honeygrow
- Daily Veg
- Santa Fe Mexican Grill
- Stone Balloon Ale House
- El Diablo Burritos
- Klondike Kate’s Restaurant and Saloon
- Atexquita Restaurant
- National 5 and 10
- Heart and Home
- EC Shades
- Grassroots
- The Delaware Growler
- Switch
- The Newark Partnership
- Newark Arts Alliance
- Water is Life Kenya
