CITY OF REHOBOTH BEACH: Rehoboth Extends Meterless Mondays

Meter

City of Rehoboth Beach issued the following announcement on Aug. 28

At their meeting on August 28, the Rehoboth Beach commissioners approved extending free parking on Monday evenings to draw local visitors into town. Parking will be free from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. through September 14. Meterless Mondays goal is to help local businesses struggling with lost revenues due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“Through efforts like Meterless Mondays, we continue to ensure our business owners have the support they need to build and grow their business as their success ultimately benefits the community as a whole. Small businesses promote economic opportunity and growth. Please shop at your local businesses to help recognize these business owners--your neighbors--and help the community,” said Mayor Paul Kuhns.
