City of Wilmington issued the following announcement on Dec. 18
Mayor Mike Purzycki encourages City residents to be tested FREE for COVID-19 next week at one of the test locations available in and around Wilmington. Some sites require you to pre-register or call ahead, and hours will vary at some sites. Flu shots are also available next week.

- Wednesday, December 23: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.; 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Thursday, December 24: 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Friday, December 25: Christmas Day (No Testing)
- Saturday, December 26: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Mayor urges City residents to continue to take precautions to stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus by avoiding large crowds, wearing a mask, and washing and sanitizing your hands frequently.
Mayor Purzycki today expressed his thanks to the New Castle County government and the City and State Emergency Management offices for arranging the weekly testing events in Wilmington and throughout New Castle County.
