Webp covid 2045 20edited

Across Delaware, 73 percent of residents have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine by the end of March, according to the State of Delaware.

The number of people who got at least one COVID-19 shot increased by 0.6 percent from the month before.

Roughly 63 percent of Delaware's population has received two doses of COVID-19 vaccine.

A state of emergency declared by Governor John C. Carney in early 2022 requiring indoor masking in schools expired at the beginning of March.

The recent surge of the Omicron COVID-19 variant caused “an unpleasant mixture of dread, fatigue and deja vu” almost two years into the pandemic, according to a report from McKinsey & Company.

Past data is continually updated by the State's health department.
