The ACLU of Delaware has announced a new agenda aimed at expanding voting rights through constitutional amendments. The initiative was launched with the support of various advocacy groups, including Common Cause Delaware.

Jeff Raffel, chair of the state advisory board for Common Cause Delaware, commented on the campaign. "When you take rights away from people, as we’ve seen recently, they don’t like it, and I think you’re going to see a strong opinion when people find out they can’t use a number of the methods to vote that they’ve had in the past," said Raffel during Tuesday’s announcement.

The campaign seeks to address recent changes in voting methods and aims to restore and expand access for voters across Delaware.
